How much do your cakes cost?
Anywhere from £50.00 and upwards. All of our cakes are priced upon an individual basis. We have created a handy pricing guide for our wedding cakes and our special occasion cakes to help give you an idea of what it may cost you for one of our designs.
Do you offer discounts?
In short, nope. We are a high end, bespoke, artisan brand and we have a fair pricing policy that we always adhere to.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes of course. This can sometimes be more attractive when having to pay for larger cakes. Each time you make a payment we will send you an amended cake order which will show your balance.
Can I make changes to my order?
If you need to make changes, then as much notice as possible is required. If the baking has not yet been done or decorations haven’t been created, we will of course accommodate. However, if items have been made or baked then your order will incur an extra charge to replace these items. If you just wish to add items or increase the size of your order, you will be charged accordingly.
Do you deliver?
Yes we do deliver. You can head to our deliveries page for more information.
Do you hire cake stands?
Yes we do. We have a variety of beautiful cake stands all for hire. All the cakes in our gallery and on social media are on our stands. Please take a look and if you would like to hire one it’s a £15.00 hire charge plus a refundable deposit if we receive the stand back undamaged.
How long in advance should I book?
Our advice is, to avoid disappointment, secure your booking as far ahead as possible. We only take on a limited number of commissions per week. You can place a ‘save the date’ deposit. This is a £50.00 non-refundable deposit and it secures your booking for the date you have specified.
What is a portion size?
You can head to our handy portion guide which will give you some more detailed information.
Can I have different flavour tiers?
You sure can. It would be mean of us to offer thirteen amazing flavours on our Bakers Dozen Menu and not let you have more than one on your tiered cake. However, super tiers, which is actually two cakes made to look like one tier must be the same flavour.
Can I have fruitcake without marzipan?
Yep, not a problem. We will just give it an extra coating of sugar paste to ensure it’s nice and smooth.
How long can I keep the cake once it is cut?
Our recipes are designed to be consumed on the day of cutting your cake. We use high quality ingredients with no preservatives, so once the cake has been cut into, it is best for it to be consumed on the day. This is only our advice. Of course there is an option for it to be refrigerated and consumed the next day but only at the clients discretion.
Do you offer dietary requirement cakes?
We do accommodate in some areas when it comes to dietary requirements. Please head to our dietary requirements page for further information.
How do I cut the cake?
We suggest cutting the cake into two by one inch pieces. Firstly separate the tiers and refrigerate for thirty minutes. Then dip your cutting knife in hot water before each cut.
Can I have real flowers on my cake?
We pride ourselves here at Orange Rabbit Cakes on the level of craftsmanship it takes to create our wonderful sugar flowers, which also make a beautiful keepsake. However, if you wish to use real flowers you can, but it will be up to you to put them on the cake. We, as food producers, are not allowed to use real flowers, as they are either organic, with the possibility of insects inside them or they have been sprayed with pesticides that are not fit for consumption.
