All payments can be made by either, bank transfer, cash or cheques made payable to Robert Watson. Only once funds have cleared is your booking secured.

Payments may be made in installments if you wish, but must be paid in full one month before the collection/delivery of your order.

A £50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking for the date which you want for you event. We do only take on a limited amount of commissions per week so this is a good idea to avoid disappointment.

This deposit is deducted from the final cost of your order.

The payment must be made in full one month before the delivery/collection of your order.

Any orders placed within the one month window prior to the delivery/collection of your order must be paid in full.

If there is any reason that you have to cancel your order with us then refunds are as follows;

Deposit is non-refundable.

From 6 months and upwards of the event date, 100% refund minus the deposit.

Within 1 month to 6 months 50% is payable plus the deposit.

Any cancellations made within the last month prior to the event date, 100% is payable and no refund will be given.

In certain circumstances our discretion is used.

If there is any reason at all that we are unable to fulfill your order once a payment has been made, you will be entitled to a full refund and if you wish we will find another trusted cake decorator who will fulfill your order for the same price. This is however, an unlikely circumstance but needs to be mentioned.

Delivery is charged as a set fee within the first 5 miles of our decorating studio then charged at 1 mile increments thereafter.

Any deliveries that incur extra charges, like tolls or congestion charge will be added on top.

Any deliveries that are further afield will be worked out on an individual basis and if an evenings accommodation is needed then this will also be added on top.

Whilst your order is still in our charge during delivery it is our responsibility for any damage that may occur to your order. It is our responsibility to repair or refund accordingly for any damage caused. However, once your order has been set up and delivered and received at the event venue, the order is no longer our responsibility for any damage caused.

Collection can be made at a convenient time, collection times must be adhered to and if for any reason you will be late for collection then we will need to be notified with a phone call.

Once the cake has been received by the person collecting the cake and has left the studio, it is no longer our responsibility for any damage that may occur to your order. Full instructions on how to safely transport your order will be given to the person collecting the cake and it is their responsibility that these instructions are adhered to. It is also the person collecting your orders responsibility to provide adequate transportation for your order, that is a large enough flat space that is clutter free, and that they drive carefully and responsibly whilst transporting your order.

It is your responsibility to ensure your order is transported and presented at your venue at and ambient temperature not exceeding 24c and that your order is not refrigerated unless specified to do so.

We reserve the right to refuse collection if we deem your order to be too large or too fragile for yourself or a third party outside of Orange Rabbit Cakes to transport.

As outlined on our dietary needs and allergies page, we can accommodate accordingly, but it must be noted that any preparations of your order are not made in an environment free of the ingredients you have requested not to be present in your order.

It is not our responsibility if any of your guests have allergies or specific dietary needs, it is your responsibility to inform your guests where dietary and allergy based needs have been accommodated for.

While we pride ourselves at Orange Rabbit Cakes that nearly all you see on your order is edible, sometimes it is necessary to use non-edible items for structural and decorative purposes. These may come in the form of dowels, wires, food grade sticks, jewels, brooches, ribbons, etc. We will advise you of this, however it is your responsibility to ensure that either you or your caterers are aware that they will need to be removed before serving the cake.
